WHO ARE THOSE GUYS?

An unusual group of folks compose one of the Sunday morning bible study classes at First Baptist Church.  They have been busy hosting other classes at festive food affairs, conducting auctions for funds for future projects, volunteering for a number of the church active work teams and the choir, as well as, making road trips to extend their fellowship to out-of-town activities.

The question still remains - Who are these folks?

A few years ago, Martha Woods began praying about the need for a class for those that did not really fit into the regular classes.  Some were single, some were single again, some with children and some without.  The key to each was their individual needs.  Martha felt they could minister to each other and that was a terrific basis for a class.

Martha and Rhonda Lyles began the class with no one and attracted a hand full while she prayed for a teacher.  One day Martha told Buddy Harbin that the Lord wanted him to teach the class.  The class began to meet in the Prayer room and the enrollment slowly began to grow.  A surprise to Martha and Buddy was the good number of class members whose spouses attend other churches or had conflicting responsibilities in the church.

The class has completed the study of "Experiencing God," by Henry Blackaby, a study on "How to Pray," and has just concluded the "Book of John," by Max Lucado.

The question was asked "Why has this class grown as it has and been as active as it is" and the answer comes back, "God put this class together!"  So says Martha Woods.

So - who are these guys?  They call themselves the WHOSOEVER WILL CLASS!   Wouldn't you fit in?
