Minister of Music- Rev. Andy Cummings

As a senior in high school, Andy Cummings felt the call of God to a life of Christian service, and followed that call into life as a Minister of Music. He graduated from Pillow Academy in 1983, and continued his education at Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, MS. After graduating from MDCC in 1985, Andy received his degree from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS, in 1987. From there, Andy obtained his Masters in Church Music from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989.

Andy has previously served as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Itta Bena, MS; Memorial Baptist Church in Metairie, LA; Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Columbus, MS; First Baptist Church of Cleveland, MS; and First Baptist Church of Columbus, MS. Andy and his family answered the call to First Baptist Church, Grenada, in August of 1998.

Andy and his wife, Jan, are the proud parents of Cassie, age 14, and Caleb, age 11.
