Walking By Faith

Faith Sunday

Habakkuk 2:4 says, "The just shall live by His faith." Our journey through Habakkuk over the last six weeks has taught us many biblical truths. The most important being that, as believers, we are to walk by our faith. Our faith is greater and stronger than life's circumstances. We conclude our series through Habakkuk this Sunday. I hope you will join us.

This Sunday is also our "Faith Sunday." Since January, our debt reduction has been a major prayer focus of our church. Every Wednesday night and nearly every Sunday night we have gathered together and prayed for God's provision. He has been faithful and allowed us to reduce our debt in a mighty way. We are now at the final stretch. The end is in sight. We are praying and asking for God's provision to be debt free after this Sunday. Currently our debt stands at $206,000. In human eyes that may seem impossible. But if we are walking by faith, we simply give it to the Lord. We are praying, being obedient, and waiting for God to work.

Would you pray for this day? Would you be obedient to the Lord's direction concerning your giving? Would you help us celebrate and praise Him when this special day is over. Habakkuk 3:18 says, "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." I can't wait to see you Sunday. We are praying for a God-sized day!!
